CONTEST RULES:

All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the M. D. Anderson Cancer Research Center, the American
Cancer Association, and the Island Recreation Scholarship Fund.
- Open to all photographers
- Theme: LOW COUNTRY SCENERY (e.g. scenic, birds, animals, boats, beaches, sunsets, people, etc.)
- Color; up to 16” x 20” matted
JUDGING & PRIZES:
- 4-5 judges; appointed by Juergen Thiessen
- Brian Carmines & Festival Marketing Group will arrange for double ribbons for winning photographs (1
for the photographer, 1 for the auction) - Winners to be announced immediately following the judging
- Prizes: 1st: $200, 2nd $150, 3rd $100, 5 honorable mentions @ $50 each
- Printed & matted photographs become property of the Festival for charity auction at the Festival; copyright
remains with the photographer - All entered photographs will be displayed in a special tent at the Festival on Saturday, April 26, and
auctioned off in the silent auction
