Stephanie began playing tennis as a 4 year old, started competing in tournaments at age 10 and played competitive juniors in the
Mid-Atlantic Tennis Association.  Early career highlights include maintaining a top 10 ranking in the state of Virginia and reaching a top
15 MATA ranking.

Upon entering Clemson University, Stephanie took a 16 year hiatus from the sport to focus on a career as an architect.  After her
undergraduate studies and completion of her Masters in Architecture from Texas A&M University, Stephanie moved to Dallas where
she worked as an architect for 6 years and met her husband Michael (also an architect).

Stephanie and Michael moved to Hilton Head Island in 2002 to start their own architecture firm and raise their family that has
expanded to include 2 little girls, ages 4 & 2, and 2 Welsh Corgi’s. Stephanie has resumed competitive tennis, playing on a local
women’s 4.5 and 5.0 team.  She also plays regularly at the Hytennis Academy and takes lessons under Royce Silvan at the Windmill
Harbor Tennis Club.
